My First Post
While juggling my home, work, creative, and recreative activities, I wanted to find a way to keep folks updated on my activities and whereabouts. So, like millions of others, I started a blog. Here's my first post:
About my blog name: I seem to find myself amidst an urban renaissance (Italian for rebirth), and it's happening right here in my hometown of Los Angeles. Folks from all walks of life are rediscovering the simpler things in life, and reinventing the way we live.
More and more, people are growing their own food, cooking at home, and creating products and services to serve one another's needs. It reminds me of what happened in Harlem in the early 20th century. Hence, this rebirth of creativity and resourcefulness is what gave this blog it's name: Los Angeles Renaissance
